In 3D Sand Printing, the Binder Jetting process (BJ) is used to produce 3D elements.

This process works by locally applying binder droplets to the sand powder bed. The binder sticks the sand together to create the desired 3D component.

The current state of the art allows the production of sand moulds with high productivity. Geometrics can be realized which cannot be achieved with conventional methods – the number of components can be reduced.
